As the Doctor rushes to finish the alterations to the original drug, he is suddenly interrupted by Thompson and 3 of his guards. He is early. And this floods the Doc with fear and anxiety. " What's wrong Doctor? You seem unusually nervous." Thompson mocks. "Nothing Sir, I wasn't expecting visitors. I didn't think you would be here so early." He quickly retorts. "Visitors you say? Must I remind you of who is in charge here. It has been more than 24 hours Doctor. What is the word from the lab?" Thompson now clearly perturbed. "Oh yes, I must apologize. They confirmed complete resistance to all disease. We are clear to administer to human subjects. I'm just finishing up a few minor changes needed, as suggested by the lab. In my excitement I forgot to notify you Sir." He responds as he starts to perspire. " Very well Doctor. I have taken the liberty of selecting the 1st subjects for you.
