Author: RockPaperScissors

He knew how much I loved autumn. The window was open because I needed to smell it. The crispy air of fall danced through the room, throwing up the sheet and running along my bare arms. Goosebumps stood.

I began to sprawl across the big, open bed. My foot knocked against something.

It was a drinking glass, filled with orangey leaves. I picked it up and hugged it close to my chest. A sticky note was attached to the glass.

_I know it's hard, but get on up and come outside. Let's play in the leaves._

Finally feeling the rush of motivation, I pulled the sheets away and stood up to dress, to play in the leaves.
